As a non-profit organization, the Weslaco Museum is able to operate due to the dedication of our volunteers. These individuals willingly give their time and talent to collect, preserve, exhibit, and promote the history, cultural arts, and past traditions of our community. Opportunities to volunteer include tours, community outreach, field trips, clerical work, fundraisers, interviews, documentation & research, as well as artifact conservation & catalog.

If you have personal artifacts that reflect the vibrant and evolving history of Weslaco, we will gladly consider donated objects that may fall within the scope of our collection.
